From the Resident Conductor’s Podium,

I want to take this opportunity to welcome you to the website of the Northwest Festival Orchestra!

The Northwest Festival Orchestra begins its sixth full season with a genuine sense of accomplishment, coupled with energetic enthusiasm for the future.

Responding to the long-held need for a professional symphonic ensemble of quality in the Northwest Suburbs, the Northwest Festival Orchestra was founded in Spring 2006 to fulfill this need for the residents of our communities.

This symphonic ensemble is extraordinary and is dedicated to the young professional artist – instrumental, vocal, and soloistic – in the performance setting of our northwest suburban communities.  As such, the orchestra responds to a long perceived need for high level, professional caliber performances from the world of symphony, opera, and the American Musical Theatre – all performed locally and affordably.

Ticket prices for these concerts are entirely affordable in order to keep the concerts an alternative to the downtown experience and readily available to the public; however, only 35-40% of operating costs are met through ticket sales.

We encourage you to support this remarkable endeavor and donations from individuals, businesses, and corporations are constantly needed and urgently sought.
